You'll never know the real me.

1. Departure Movie

Its a story about a cellist (Daigo)who loses his job and must move back to his hometown. Once back there he reconnects with his past, and comes to terms with his life, love and dreams. Desperate to find a job, he answers an ad listed under departures, which turns out to be misspelled. It was supposed to say the departed, the job pertains to dressing, washing, and putting makeup on the deceased before the funeral. It is a job that most people look down upon because you earn money when someone dies. At first Daigo, does not like his job but little by little he comes to a new understanding of it. The process of prepping the corpse is shown in detail within the context of the story, and little by little we too as an audience get sucked in. it is an incredible ceremony to witness.

It is touching and sad movie.... it remind us of the life and death and to treasure your loved ones now. Some of the part are very funny especially when he went to interview of the job... hahaz....the cello music is also very smoothing .... wish i knew the song title...

1. UnderWorld: Rise of the Lycans

The film tells the story of the origins of Lucian, who was the first werewolf able to take human form. Due to this fascinating ability, he would form a division of the wolf race that was called Lycans. Viktor, the ruthless king of the vampires, took him home after killing his werewolf mother in a countryside raid. Aware that these intellectual wolves could be domesticated. He decided to create a race of werewolves that would be more sedate than the original breed, a viciously volatile kind that couldn't revert back to human form. He envisions a race of salves for his vampire clan that, conceivably, could keep guard during the daytime hours and toil for the vampires. As Lucian grows up at Viktor's fortress, his younger daughter, Sonja developed an attraction to the young Lycan, and Lucian becomes fond of Sonja as well.
It is revealed that Viktor has a tacit relationship with the human population of the area, whereupon he agreed to protect them from the wild werewolves that roam the countryside in exchange for cash. As a collection human nobles come to meet with the vampire council for protection from the werewolves in exchange for this aforementioned tithe, Sonja goes out to guard them. Lucian hears the Lycans near Sonja and steals a horse and sword from a nearby Death Dealer. Wild werewolves proceed to attack and kill the nobles, causing Lucian to engage in a battle with them. When Lucian takes off his collar and transforms into a Lycan in order to protect himself from an assailaint, the wild werewolves back down to his howl and leave before Lucian is shot down by Viktor's men.
Viktor, despite grudgingly acknowledging that Lucian saved his daughter from certain peril, notes that Lucian still transgressed the laws of the coven by taking off the collar that kept him in check (by preventing him from changing into a Lycan) and feels betrayed.. Subsequently, he locks Lucian away after having him whipped thirty times with a three pronged chain-bladed whip.

Lucian escapes, kills several of the Vampire and begins to liberate the other Lycans from what he perceives as their unfair imprisonment. The guards are alerted and start to slaughter the Lycans. When Viktor discovers that Sonja has an illegal relationship with Lucian, he imprisons his daughter. Lucian learns about Sonja's imprisonment and sets out to rescue her. On their way out they are attacked by the Death Dealers. Viktor is also involved in the chase and when it comes to the fight, it is Sonja who confronts Viktor. When Sonja discloses to him that she is pregnant with Lucian's child, Viktor overpowers her with a knife to the throat and imprisons both her and Lucian with renewed hatred. Sonja is sentenced to death for her crime against the coven at a trial presided over by her father and the Council. After Sonja's death, which Lucian is forced to bare witness to, Lucian attempts another escape in order to avenge his unborn child. Failing, he is able to verbally summon both the wild werewolves and the freed Lycans, who attack the coven and overwhelm it after a fierce battle.

Finally, Lucian faces Viktor in a fight and they battle their way to the dungeons. The fight continues back and forth until Lucian knocks Viktor down a well. The Lycan tears at chains hanging from above, making a hole in the roof and allowing sunlight in, which consequently corners an enraged Viktor in the darkness. Viktor's 'final' words attest to his regret at not having killed Lucian the moment he was born, to which Lucian sarcastically agrees before forcing his sword through Viktor's mouth and head and letting the body fall into the water below. Lucian declares this victory as only the beginning of what will surely be a war between the races, one bred for slavery and the other born into privilege. In one of the closing scenes we see Tanis leading a very alive Viktor, who survived due to his status as an Elder, into a hibernation chamber on a boat.

The film ends with the opening scene of the first Underworld, with the audio from the scene where Kraven tells Selene that it was Viktor who murdered her family, rather than the Lycans. That Viktor spared her because she reminded him of Sonja, the daughter he condemned to death. The last word is played over the shot of her eyes: "Lies."

You'll never know the real me.

Extracted from Today Newspaper: 12 January 2009

Being prepared is half the battle
The 10 most difficult questions you will be asked in a job interview

If you are one of those executive types unhappy at your present post and embarking on a New Year’s resolution to find a new one, here’s a helping hand. The job interview is considered to be the most critical aspect of every expedition that brings you face-to-face with the future boss. One must prepare for it with the same tenacity and quickness as one does for a fencing tournament or chess match.

Tell me about yourself?
Since this is often the opening question in an interview, be extra careful that you don’t run off at the month. Keep your answer to a minute or two at most. Keep your answer to a minute of two at most. Cover four topics: Early years, education, work history, and recent career experience. Emphasize this last subject. Remember that this is likely to be a warm-up question. Don’t waste your best points on it.

What do you know about our organization?
You should be able to discuss products or services, revenues, reputation, image, goals, problems, management style, people, history and philosophy. But don’t act as if you know everything about the place. Let your answer that you have taken the time to do some research, but don’t overwhelm the interviewer, and make it clear that you wish to learn more.

Why do you want to work for us?
The deadliest answer you can give is “because I like people”. What else would you like – animals? Here, and throughout the interview, a good answer comes from having done your homework so that you can speak in terms of the company’s needs. You might say that your research has shown that the company is doing things you would like to be involved with, and that it’s doing them in ways that greatly interest you. For example, if the organization is known for strong management, your answer should mention that fact and show that you would like to be a part of that team.

What can you do for us that someone else can’t?
Here you have every right, and perhaps an obligation, to toot your own horn and be a bit egotistical. Talk about your record of getting things done, and mention specifics from your resume or list of career accomplishments. Say that your skills and interests, combined with this history of getting results, make you valuable. Mention your ability to set priorities, identify problems, and use your experience and energy to solve them.
Please give me your definition of (the position for which you are being interviewed).
Keep your answer brief and task oriented. Think in terms of responsibilities and accountability. Make sure that you really do understand what the position involves before you attempt an answer. If you are not certain, Ask the interviewer; he or she may answer the question for you.
How long would it take you to make a meaningful contribution to our firm?
Be realistic. Say that, while you would expect to meet pressing demands and pull your own weight from the first day, it might take six months to a year before you could expect to know the organization and its needs well enough to make a major contribution.

Your resume suggests that you may be over-qualified or too experienced for this position. What’s your opinion?
Emphasize your interest in establishing a long-term association with the organization and say that you assume that if you perform well in this job, new opportunities will open up for you. Mention that a strong company needs a strong staff. Observe that experienced executives are always at a premium. Suggest that since you are so well qualified, the employer will get a fast return on his investment. Say that a growing, energetic company can never have too much talent.

What is your management style?
You should know enough about the company’s style to know that your management style will complement it. Possible styles includes: task oriented (“I’ll enjoy problem-solving, identifying what’s wrong, choosing a solution and implementing it”), result-oriented (“Every management decision I make is determined by how it will affect the bottom line”), or even paternalistic (“I’m committed to taking care of my subordinates and pointing them in the right direction”). A participative style is currently quite popular; an open-door method of managing in which you get things done by motivating people and delegating responsibility.

Why are you leaving (did you leave) your present (last) job?
Be brief, to the point, and as honest as you can without hurting yourself. If you were laid off in an across-the-board cutback, say so; otherwise, indicate that the move was your decision, the result of your action. Do not mention personally conflicts. The interviewer may spend some time probing you on this issue, particularly if it is clear that you were terminated. The “we agreed to disagree” approach may be useful. Remember that your references are likely to be checked, so don’t concoct a story for an interview.

What do you think of your boss?
Be as positive as you can. A potential boss is likely to wonder if you might talk about him in similar terms at some point in the future.
